Hybrib WWHP water heating systems
Solair, with its reputation for quality heat transfer products, evolved in early 70’s and has now become a world leader in design and manufacture of a wide range of systems which efficiently transfers the unwanted heat from the air to the water and provide operational savings of upto 90% when compared to the conventional Electric, Gas or Oil heaters.
The system shall replace the electric heating/cooling system thereby reducing the connected electric load. The system offers a low cost recovery period, undoubted advantages on long-term basis in terms of reduced electric power load/consumption and almost zero maintenance costs.
With complexes having conventional electric/diesel boiler systems installed, it is ideal to install the system, which would achieve an operational cost savings of approximately 90%. In addition to the operation cost savings achieved by the system, the by-product air-cooling could be utilized for spot cooling of the complex thereby reducing the operational cost of the central air-conditioning system.
This REB system is also ideal for replacement of existing boiler systems. A hybrid installation would enable the complex to recover the equipment cost a very low period of time while providing an additional air-cooling benefit, which could be utilized for spot cooling.
Solar water heating systems
Solar heater systems supplied, comprise of high quality copper absorber plates in the collector panel to ensure maximum efficiency and durability in comparison to the pressed steel tubes commonly used in many solar systems. The solar system that we offer you is by far the most technically advanced solar hot water system in the world today. This system is 50% more efficient and effective when compared with any conventional type solar hot water system that is available from other manufacturers worldwide. The system adopts two superior technologies.
1. Multi-flow absorber corrosion resistant copper plate design, produces a significant increase in collector panel efficiency resulting in a far greater fluid to surface contact allowing it to absorb much more of the available sun rays.
Exclusive multi–flow absorber panel design produces a significant increase in solar radiation collection by the collector. Each panel contains 16 fluid channels per panel. About 8 more fluid tubes than most other solar system panels. Therefore the Solarflame panels have a far greater efficiency due to large area of fluid contact with direct solar radiation.
2. The system also benefits from our exclusive closed circuit indirect heat transfer system. The radiant energy collected by the Titanium selective surface of the solar panel is conducted directly through the primary fluid in the panel.
All conventional hot water systems circulate the water to be heated through solar collector panels. In the solar closed circuit system a special liquid is inserted into the panel and it is this liquid that heats up through solar energy and transfers heat to the water in the storage tank. With this indirect heating system, there is no circulating water to clog or corrode the panels nor is there any heat loss due to water circulation (a common phenomenon in all conventional solar heating systems). In fact the system has been designed to function efficiently with no maintenance whatsoever in areas where there are problems due to hard water, excessive amounts of calcium & sediments. This combined with a larger surface area in each solar thermal panel make Solarflame or Summer, the better choice for water your heating needs.
AWCP water heating / cooling systems
Global Energy heat transfer products design and manufacture of a wide range of systems, which recover unwanted heat from the water and provide cool water during the hot summer months in the Middle Eastern region.
The system replaces the expensive chilled water-cooling system through a heat exchanger thereby reducing the chiller cooling load. The system offers a low cost recovery period, undoubted advantages on long-term basis in terms of reduced electric power consumption.
With complexes having conventional chilled water cooling system, during hot summer months, the chiller are required to provide space cooling to the building for customer comfort and at the same time provide the load required for the chilled water cooling system. This overloads the chiller and could be a contributor to many chiller failures.
Swimming pool water heating / cooling systems
Recognising the need for a low cost, high quality, reliable heat transfer swimming pool heating / cooling system, Solair has developed a wide range of pool reversible heat pump systems to suite the requirements of the client.
With a low power requirements and local technical and after sales support, these pool heat pumps have been developed using internationally approved components and are assembled locally. However depending on each customer’s requirements heat pump are sourced and supplied to clients from our principles from USA.
We are proud to announce that we are one of few companies capable of producing and supplied large capacity pool heat pump systems to cater to large Olympic or municipality type swimming pools having a range of over 30 models to choose from.
All our swimming pool heat pumps carry an extended warranty program for long years of trouble free service. This facility is in line with our primary objective of customer satisfaction.
Outdoor air-quality dehumidification systems
To comply with ASHRAE 62 or outdoor air quality (IAQ) standards, HVAC systems must bring more outdoor air into facilities for ventilation.
Schools
Hospitals
Hotels
Restaurants and health clubs
Assisted living centres and retirements homes
Laboratories
Theatres
Large office building
When outdoor air is used as ventilation air, five distinct issues must be addressed that makeup the 100% outdoor air problem.
1) Moisture levels.
2) Cooling load required due to sensible heat load
3) Heating load required during winter months
4) Energy saving of the entire system.
5) Energy recovery from exhaust air system
Each of the above issues has to be addressed under all seasons in order to provide a true year-round solution. Desert Aire series totalaire dehumidification systems overcome the five crucial issues that have to be addressed to provide a solution for outdoor air quality ventilation. Due to the flexibility of Desert Aire, it could be installed with complimentary products that help create a complete solution.
Heat transfer fresh air-cooling coil systems
What makes the 7090 heat recovery cooling coil system different from a conventional heat exchanger is the capability to transfer 1,000 times more energy than a solid copper tube, the best known commercial conductor. The 7090 system does not contain any moving parts, no external fans, no connections to fluid supply, no noise and no external power sources.
The 7090 cooling coil has taken this innovative technology and applied it to the task of saving energy for buildings and industry…… energy conditioned air in buildings…….. from wasted in HVAC systems or industrial processes……. In fact savings from almost any waste heat or cooling application that you can think of.
The cooling coil that makes up the exchanger module consist of three elements.
A sealed pipe
A capillary wick structure and
A working fluid.
Because the coil is sealed under vacuum, the working fluid is in equilibrium with its own vapour. The capillary wick distributes the working fluid over the inside of the coil. Hot air flown over one end of the coil evaporates the working fluid. The vapour is then condensed at the cooler end, giving up the heat to the second air stream. The condensed vapour flows back to the evaporator, completing the cycle.
The cooling coil is made up of rows of individual finned pipes, which extend horizontally across the total width of the exchanger and pass through a sealed centre partition. The sealed partition separates the heat exchanger into two sections.
A cooling coil is installed across two side-by-side air ducts containing separate counter flow airstreams. In operation, exhaust air is discharged across one section on the coil, and supply air is ducted in a counter flow direction across the other section. Heat is transferred from the hot air steam to the cold air stream by the cooling coil. While the 7090 cooling coil can recover upto 90% of exhaust energy under ideal conditions, the economical system heat recovery performance of installed units is closer to 70%. This represents a tremendous savings of energy while yielding immediate and future savings.
Batch gasificationprocess
It is a waste-to-energy plant, since combine the need for waste disposal and energy production near the demand points (final users) in a sustainable way.
Partial oxidation of organic material at low temperature that is the process, which, through the embers, converts the processed material to synthetic gas (syngas) and inert ash, is a widespread and well-known process. The technology was born in the U.S.A. in the early 90s as a simple, modular and cheap approach to solve waste disposal and its transformation to energy.
The Batch Gasification is a valid and cheap system to convert biomass and waste, into thermal and electric energy.
The process develops into two different phases: a primary gasification through which complex organic molecules are slowly dissociated in simpler ones forming a synthetic gas, and a secondary gasification through which the synthetic gas is completely oxidized and producing a good quality exhausted gas at high temperature, which can be used as energy carrier to generate thermal and/or electric energy.
